End of the Season

Alas, the first frost has come. It's been an excellent trial year for the Tormato. There were no unforseen problems and things worked just as I had envisioned them….WOW!! (that NEVER happens!)

So, By request, here are the last of the photos for the season.

The hoops remained in place, and firmly held up the tomato plants.

The tomatos grew tall, though we did have a VERY cool July, so they did not get as tall as they normally do.

The hoops even held the tomatoes very nicely!

This plant was pretty loaded.

Here is a fine example of how well the string worked as a trellis.

Same plant, different angle.

That's all folks! I hope to hear from more people trying this again next year!!
